Mega Evolution Pokémon made their Pokémon Trading Card Game debut in the expansion XY , but in the new expansion Mega Evolution They work completely differently now. Previously, your turn ended after a Pokémon Mega Evolved – unless you had equipped a special Pokémon equipment called Spirit Bond.

These Mega Evolution Pokémon EX They also evolved from basic Pokémon- EX , while the new Mega Evolution Pokémon-EX follow the normal evolution rules (provided the respective Pokémon evolves). This makes the new Mega Evolution Pokémon-EX even more powerful, and they will cost you three Prize cards if they Knock Out!
